광복 70주년 경축인사

As the NSW Minister for Veterans Affairs I send my best wishes to the veterans of the Liberation of Korea and their descendants. Soon after Korea’s liberation Australians, as part of UN forces, fought to defend the rights of Koreans to determine their own future. This fraternal bond between Australia and the Republic of South Korea continues today through strong diplomatic, defence and trade ties, as well as the strong and active Korean community in Australia. I wish you all the best for your commemorations and future endeavours.

NSW 주정부 보훈부 장관으로서, 대한민국의 광복을 위해 희생하신 애국선열 그리고 그 후손들에게 경의와 감사를 전합니다. 한국의 광복 직후 발생한 전쟁에 호주는 유엔 연합군의 일원으로 전쟁에 참여하여 한국인들의 권리와 한국의 미래를 위해 함께 싸웠습니다. 호주와 대한민국의 이러한 형제적 유대는 외교, 국방,무역 등 여러 분야에서뿐만이 아니라 호주 한국 커뮤니티의 강하고 능동적인 활동을 통해 지금까지 튼튼하게 이어져 오고 있습니다. 광복 70 주년을 진심으로 축하드리며 앞으로도 더 큰 발전과 상호 협력을 기대합니다.
